    「奇遇记」－ 亚洲新锐四人展将于9月19日-10月18日在亚洲艺术中心(北京)展出，此展览将展出亚洲艺术中心长期推广的艺术家方亦秀、邓瑜、郭文、荆智勇四位年轻艺术家共约二十余幅的精采绘画作品。
 

    这四位艺术家出生于70年代末80年代初，这一代人被称之为“市场改变中国之后的一代”，他们的作品很难用某个类别去界定，没有极端的、社会的议题，没有具体要表现的意义，技巧也变得不再是那么的重要，但他们的作品却是在不断的记录着成长的历程，描述着一个充满诸多不确定的存在状态，他们用自己的色彩和符号表达着独生一代的真实情感和自我尊重的态度。他们的每一幅作品都讲述着变革时代下，自己小小世界中的奇遇，而这些独特的经历被用于自由绘画的形式表达出来，相较于他人却是独特的，这一代艺术家在不断成长中形成了自己独有的风格。生活还在继续，故事还没结束，方亦秀、邓瑜、郭文、荆智勇还会继续跟我们讲述他们成长中的奇遇记。

    This autumn Asia Art Center (Beijing) is proud to present “Adventures" – Group Exhibition of Emerging Young Artists of the AAC, comprising more than 20 exceptional canvases by Fang Yixiu, Deng Yu, Guo Wen and Jing Zhiyong. The exhibition opens on September 19 and closes on October 18.

    The four artists were born in the late 70s and early 80s, and so belong to the generation which grew up in the post-market reform era in China. It is difficult to categorize their works, as they neither make an extreme social statement nor express a specific agenda. Furthermore, technique is no longer considered foremost. Their works are intended, instead, to chronicle the course of their maturation and to depict an existence full of uncertainties. Through their choice of colors and symbols they convey the emotional world and self-image of the members of the single-child generation. In each of these works the artists describe that small part of the world in which they have grown up in this new era. Their experiences, given free expression on canvas, are unique in themselves. In their process of growth, the artists of this generation have created their own unique style. And the story is not finished. Life keeps moving on, and Fang Yixiu, Deng Yu, Guo Wen and Jing Zhiyong will continue to tell us of the adventures of their generation.
